New Max Euwe Chess Court in Beverwijk

This morning Myra Rooselaar (Chairwoman of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament) and Serge Ferro (Alderman of Beverwijk) officially opened a new Max Euwe Chess Court in Beverwijk.

Max Euwe was the only Dutch World Champion of Chess (in 1935) and we are allowed to leverage his name for the public Chess Courts we develop in our own community and in those of the "Chess on Tour" cities. This Chess Court is a nice symbol of the collaboration between the Tata Steel Chess Tournament and the City Beverwijk and we hope it will bring a lot of people together to play chess. #ChessConnects
